Standard Table Base Specifications/Options

Veneer & Laminate Base Specifications Bases are available in any veneer species, standard priced veneers are plain sliced red or white oak, cherry, maple, mahogany and walnut. Rifts, ribbon strip, and quartersawns are also available. All bases come presanded to 150 grit and are ready for finish. Top and Bottom are enclosed with 3/4" moisture resistant board, the top having a 9 1/2" diameter or larger hole for insertion of ballast and for accessing electrical wiring. The (2) Ply 1/16" thick veneer faces are composed of equal width book and balanced sections except maple which is a slip matched veneer. All bases have a standard overall height of 27 3/4" including levelers. Custom heights available. Tested load capacity of thousands of pounds. All bases are manufactured with a heat resistant glue that resists movement in finishing drying ovens.

Veneer & Laminate Base Options Prebored and countersunk metal mounting plates are available per set of four (4) including screws. Fifty (50) pound ballast bags. Ten (10) inch square Velcro attached electrical access door located four (4) inches up from base bottom. 1/8" reveal near bottom of base. Custom finishing and laminates are available. Mouse hole cutouts for wire chase. Cylinder sizes from four (4) to ninety-six (96) inches, no size limitations. No height limitations. Surface materials: veneer, laminate, metal, metal laminates, and fabrics. Plinths in: veneer, laminate, metal, and paint. Any height and diameter. Mounting options: metal mounting plates or ¾” MDF subtops, predrilled & painted black. Metal Base Specification Cylinder and square bases are 11 gauge steel with four (4) one-inch square mounting tabs welded at the top and four (4) 1 1/4" leveling glides. The tops and bottoms are open. Three (3) inch - Six (6) inch diameters have a single 1/4" metal top plate and one leveler. "T", Double "T", and "X" base are 2" -14 gauge steel tube with two- ore three-inch diameter column. Top mounting plate and 1 1/4" clear plastic leveler. All bases have a standard overall height of 27 3/4" including levelers.
